PREGNANCY AND BREAST-FEEDING
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or planning to have baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
INTERACTIONS
Tell your doctor, if you are using,
Other acne medicines containing tretinoin, isotretinoin or tazarotene
Sulphonamide-containing products such as dapsone and sulfacetamide
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
Wash the affected area with a mild skin cleanser and water, and gently pat your skin dry
Apply the medicine in a thin layer once or twice a day to all the affected areas
If you have sensitive skin apply the medicine once daily before going to bed
You should try to avoid exposure to strong sunlight while using PERSOL FORTE
If exposure is unavoidable, use a suitable sunscreen lotion and apply PERSOL FORTE in the evening
Remember to wash the affected area before use
If you use more PERSOL FORTE
If you have taken more PERSOL FORTE than you should, talk to your doctor immediately
If you forget to use PERSOL FORTE
If you forget to use your medicine at the right time
When you remember, start using the product again, in the same way as before
If you stop taking PERSOL FORTE
Do not stop taking the PERSOL FORTE until the doctor has told you to do so
SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them
SERIOUS
Raised and itchy rash (hives)
Swelling of the face, eyes, lips, tongue or mouth (angioedema), having difficulty in breathing
Fainting
Severe redness, itching or peeling of the skin occurs, or you experience face swelling
COMMON
Itching of the skin (pruritus)
Pain of the skin (pain, stinging)
Skin irritation (irritant contact dermatitis)
UNCOMMON
Dry skin
Skin redness
Peeling of the skin
Burning sensation of the skin
Allergic contact dermatitis
